Arends returns to Douglas Elliman Real Estate

According to Douglas Elliman Real Estate, top producer Frank Arends is rejoining the company. An award-winning broker since 2005, Arends has consistently been ranked among the top 1% of real estate agents in the nation and was in the top three highest-grossing producers at his former brokerage. He will be based out of the company's 17th St. office where he began his real estate career. Arends is rejoining Elliman from TOWN Residential. "Frank is a top notch broker who possesses great knowledge of the New York market. His expertise and professionalism earned him the trust and loyalty of his buyers and sellers and I am thrilled to welcome him back home to Douglas Elliman," said Dottie Herman, president and CEO, Douglas Elliman. Arends entered real estate at Douglas Elliman in 2005 after a successful modeling and fashion career. Originally from the Netherlands, Arends is fluent in Dutch, German, and English, and has a deep understanding of the national and international marketplace. Arends has lived in New York for the past twenty years, owning property in the West Village, Chelsea, and Brooklyn. He currently resides at 555 West 23rd Street where he is the resident broker. "My business is greatly expanding, and it's in line with what's going on at Douglas Elliman right now. A dynamic market such as this requires a dynamic company with the most cutting-edge technology and greatest reach. It's a good move for me as well as for my buyers and sellers, and I look forward to once again working with the people who inspired my career," said Arends. Joining Arends in his jump back to Elliman is fellow top producer Daniela Zakarya. Starting her real estate career just over five years ago, Zakarya's dedication and business prowess quickly caught the attention of Arends and together, the two have brokered many record-setting transactions including a penthouse sale at 445 Lafayette. Zakarya will also be based out of Elliman's 17th St. office.
