Aragon Construction completes 67,000 s/f build-out

Currency trading firm FXCM Inc. appointed New York City's premier contracting and construction management firm, Aragon Construction, to complete a full-floor build-out at their corporate headquarters at 55 Water St. The project was finalized in late February. Aragon constructed the space in partnership with Milo Kleinberg Design Associates, (MKDA) and the Craven Corporation as the owner's representative. Encompassing the entire 50th floor, the project, consisting of a perimeter of offices and a large, open floor plan, will total about 67,000 s/f. "We are excited to have completed this project on schedule, and we know that FXCM's employees will be pleased with the results when they settle into their newly renovated office," said Alex Getelman, president of Aragon Construction. The large space has been constructed precisely to the clients' specifications. The open space is surrounded by a perimeter of offices and conference rooms, which are wired for two televisions and video conferencing, as well as a large IT area to handle the electronic trading equipment in the office.
