Aragon completes 20,000 s/f fit out for DLB Associates

Aragon Construction recently completed work on a 20,000 s/f fit out for DLB Associates at One Penn Plaza. Together with SBLM Architects, Aragon reconceived the 26th floor of this iconic building, steps from Penn Station and Madison Square Garden between 33rd and 34th Sts. The new space includes 10 private offices, all of which are located on the perimeter. "The strategic positioning of the offices - allowing for all units to include windows - lets employees take advantage of as much natural light as possible," said David Jaffoni, project manager of SBLM. The expansive windows also offer breathtaking views of the Hudson River to the west and the New York Times building to the north. Granite and wood finishes - including mahogany and maple - are featured throughout the office. "The needs of the client were our top concern when conceiving and executing the project," said Alex Getelman, president and founder of Aragon Construction. "We're pleased that we were able to complete the job on schedule and allow DLB to welcome in the New Year with their new offices." DLB, which is based in Eatontown, New Jersey, has been a leading firm in the consulting industry for over 30 years. The new Manhattan office space will act as an additional location for the firm. Broker Dana Pike of George Comfort & Sons, Inc. represented DLB in the transaction.

Most people think of St. Patrick’s Day as a fun footnote on the calendar. In construction logistics, however, it’s a full-scale operational variable — especially if your work touches major metro areas with major parades and, let’s call it what it is, enthusiastic celebrants.
