Apollo appoints Wenig as general counsel

Cindy Wenig has joined Apollo Real Estate Advisors as general counsel. Previously, she led the real estate practice at Chadbourne & Parke LLP, where she practiced law for 16 years. At Chadbourne, she advised clients on all aspects of real estate transactions. She represented clients in many large scale redevelopment projects in the city and advised private equity funds on real estate investments in the U.S. and abroad. A summa cum laude graduate of Princeton University, Wenig earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School. She serves on the board of directors of WX, Women Executives in Real Estate, and serves as a speaker at real estate industry events.
