AECOM Tishman president Badame recognized by Nephcure Kidney International at annual benefit

Manhattan, NY According to AECOM Tishman, Jay Badame, president of the firm, has been recognized as this year’s honoree at Nephcure Kidney International’s 15th annual Countdown to a Cure fundraising benefit, which took place on November 14th at Pier Sixty in Chelsea Piers. The event raised over $1.2 million for the organization.

Countdown to a Cure is a fundraising event that included dinner, a live auction and an opportunity to network with some of New York’s leading industry professionals. Countdown to a Cure raised funds to benefit those living with rare and debilitating kidney diseases that can lead to organ failure. Badame himself pledged a goal of raising over $1 million for this year’s event.

All proceeds will benefit NephCure Kidney International’s goal of accelerating research for effective treatments for rare forms of Nephrotic Syndrome, and also provide education and support to improve the lives of those affected. Focal Glomerular Sclerosis (FSGS), IgA Nephropathy and other kidney-related diseases that cause Nephrotic Syndrome are complex conditions that severely impact people’s lives. The variation among cases makes it challenging to find resources and answers that patients and their families need to navigate their way back to health.

“It was so heartening to see a community of concerned individuals gather to support this wonderful cause,” said Badame. “I am honored to have been recognized by this dedicated organization, and I am so pleased to announce the success of the event. This fundraising is critical for NephCure Kidney International’s research efforts, and will go a long way in allowing the organization to achieve this goal.”

The death of the generic offering memorandum: What buyers expect in 2025 - by Kimberly Zar Bloorian

There was a time when an offering memorandum (OM) was pretty bare bones, some photos, a few bullet points on income, and a rent roll thrown in at the back. That used to get the job done. Not anymore. In 2025, buyers are sharper, faster, and more selective. They’re looking
