Aber joins CBRE's New York institutional investment properties team

Manhattan, NY According to CBRE, Ariel Aber has joined the firm as vice chair to focus on institutional investment transactions for commercial assets across New York City.

With over 18 years of real estate experience spanning global markets and the Metropolitan New York area, Aber brings expertise in institutional investments, asset management, and strategic operations. He will partner with Doug Middleton to source and execute institutional investment transactions, ensuring exceptional outcomes for clients and driving growth in the region.

“The addition of Ariel, combined with Doug’s proven track record, positions our Investment Properties business in New York for significant growth as market conditions improve,” said Jennifer Czubaja, senior managing director for CBRE in New York City. “Their complementary skill sets will provide outstanding leadership and further expand our presence in this critical market.”  

Aber joins CBRE from DivcoWest, where he served as managing director and head of New York Investments for seven years. Before that, he was director of real estate for AmTrust Financial, managing global real estate operations, including acquisitions and asset management.
