A-Z Security & Investigations joins Murdoch Security Group

Staten Island-based A-Z Security & Investigations is the latest member to be acquired by the expanding Murdoch Security Group. The 20-year old firm will become Murdoch's Special Services Division, offering premium security services and VIP protection. Company partners Vincent Albanese and Chris Zibrosky will remain at the helm of the new division. A-Z Security delivers high-end security services to companies in the banking, jewelry, maritime and utility industries. The company also has a 20-year history of providing protection services for dignitaries, executives and other high-profile individuals. William Vassell, chairman and CEO of Murdoch Security Group, says his company's acquisition philosophy is to leave local leadership in place to ensure each firm retains its unique identity and specialized services. "We believe a company's strength comes from continuity of leadership. That's why we've been able to retain many of the clients from the companies that join us," Vassell said. The strategy has proven successful for both Murdoch and the firms that join the company. Murdoch provides added value to the companies they acquire through the benefit of corporate resources, operational efficiencies and sharing best practices among their partners. "We're proud to be the newest partner of the Murdoch Security Group," said Zibrosky. "This relationship gives A-Z Security & Investigations and our clients greater access to a wide range of expert security professionals who have diverse and distinct specialties. At the same time, we can bring our expertise in custom protection and upscale security officers to other partners in the Murdoch group, while benefiting from the corporate support we need to expand our operations."
