What led you to your current profession?

Many of my family members are engineers or in a related field which helped guide my career in the engineering and architecture space. I have also always been fascinated by New York City. Before I moved here, I would visit any chance I could get and would walk around the city looking at different buildings wondering how skyscrapers were built. The mix of my family, my creative thinking, my problem-solving skills, and my interest in New York City has all led to my current profession today.

What books or social media influencers would you recommend to other women?

I highly recommend “Untamed” by Glennon Doyle to other women as it is one of my favorite books. It is a memoir of Doyle’s life and her journey of freeing herself from the cage that society puts on women. She lived much of her life pleasing others until she finally decided to choose her own happiness and start living on her terms. It is a truly inspiring and relatable story and I recommend it to women of all ages.
