In the past year, what project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of?

This past year hasn’t been easy for anyone; an understatement for a majority of the world. I am extremely proud of my team and the professionals I work with. Despite several odds against us, we have been able to reach our goals and a milestone for our small firm. As of last month, CoRE is monitoring over $3 billion in construction loans, and has expanded services to several markets outside the New York Tri State area.

How do you contribute to your community or profession?

I am extremely proud to be a part of the MBA of NY Scholarship Foundation. I believe in their mission of fostering inclusive, community-minded real estate industry engagement through mentorship, education and financial support. Future innovation and prosperity of our industry rests in empowering students today; the return on that investment is what we, as professionals, are willing to put into their success. As a mentor and executive board member, I’ve seen firsthand the positive impact our organization has on students and future professionals.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

As early as I can remember, I knew I wanted to be a “businesswoman.” I do not think I knew what that meant. Nevertheless, I have somehow gotten there.
