What recent project, accomplishment or award are you most proud of? As Shawmut takes on larger, more complex projects, conceptual estimating and budgeting has become even more critical. I am so proud of the work I have done recently to accurately develop many conceptual budgets for these large-budget projects, creating certainty of outcome for our clients.

What is one of the most exciting developments or innovations impacting the AEC industry right now? Cloud-based data analytics is positioned to transform cost estimating in construction. Traditionally, estimates relied on basic methods that provided less accuracy. Leveraging extensive, historical data and predictive analytics through cloud technology increases accuracy and can help transform the industry.
