What trend or change in commercial real estate do you believe will have the biggest impact over the next five years?
I believe the biggest trend over the next five years will be the integration of technology and artificial intelligence into every aspect of commercial real estate. AI-driven market analysis, predictive data, property management, and marketing will help professionals make smarter, faster decisions while improving the client experience. At the same time, the demand for adaptive reuse, mixed-use developments, and sustainable properties will continue to reshape our communities. Those who embrace innovation while maintaining strong relationships and local market expertise will be best positioned.
What leadership lesson has made the greatest impact on your career?
The greatest leadership lesson I’ve learned is that true leadership is about serving others, not simply directing them. By leading with integrity, setting high standards, and investing in the growth of those around me, I’ve built strong relationships and a team that is empowered to succeed. When you lead by example and create opportunities for others to grow, success naturally follows.
What was the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in the past 12 months, and why?
One of the most rewarding accomplishments over the past 12 months was leading the successful turnaround of two multifamily properties. One was a complete renovation of a 24-unit apartment building, and the other was a 42-unit property requiring inspections, major improvements, unit renovations, and lease-up to restore cash flow. Overcoming these challenges with my team and seeing both properties become successful again has been incredibly rewarding.
What advice would you give to the next generation of women entering commercial real estate?
Believe in your abilities, work hard, and never stop learning. Commercial real estate offers incredible opportunities for women who are willing to be resilient, embrace challenges, and continuously expand their knowledge. Surround yourself with mentors and a strong team, build genuine relationships, and always lead with integrity. Success isn’t about proving yourself to others — it’s about consistently delivering value, earning trust, and creating opportunities for those who come after you.
