What was the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in the past 12 months, and why?
One of the most rewarding experiences has been leading Maman’s national real estate strategy during its transformation from a six-unit concept to a national brand with more than 60 locations. Over the past five years, I’ve developed and executed the strategy supporting its expansion into new markets, most recently Charlotte and Dallas. This demonstrated Maman’s scalability and required thoughtful strategies to position it for long-term success. Most rewardingly, we earned the trust to serve as an extension of Maman’s leadership, helping guide growth strategy and market selection.
What advice would you give to the next generation of women entering commercial real estate?
To build a long, fulfilling career in commercial real estate, invest as much in people as you do in deals. One of the best investments I’ve made has been building genuine friendships and partnerships with other women who share similar goals and values. Those relationships have made the demands of this business more enjoyable and, more importantly, have made me a stronger broker, leader, and teammate. Be generous with your time and knowledge, collaborate with and invest in the women around you. The relationships you build will become one of the most rewarding and enduring parts of your career.
