2026 Developing Long Island: Arden at Garvies Point

Glen Cove, NY In February, RXR, a leading real estate owner, operator and master developer, in partnership with Chuo Nittochi America Corporation Team, celebrated the groundbreaking of Arden, the newest residential addition to Garvies Point and a key milestone in the continued transformation of Glen Cove’s waterfront. The five-story, 101-residence boutique rental building builds upon the success of the 56-acre mixed-use community, which has delivered hundreds of residences, activated public open space, and introduced new dining and retail destinations.

“As someone who has lived in Glen Cove my entire life and raised three children here, I’ve watched this waterfront grow and change over the years,” said Joe Graziose, EVP of Residential Development and Construction at RXR. “When I joined RXR in 2007, Garvies Point was still just an idea. To see it come to life — from Harbor Landing to The Beacon and now Arden — means a great deal to me personally. This next phase continues the work we set out to do: expanding housing thoughtfully, elevating the residential experience, and building a walkable waterfront neighborhood the community can be proud of.”

Scheduled for completion in 2027, the project will bring RXR’s total residential delivery at Garvies Point to more than 800 rental units.
