What accomplishment, milestone, project or transaction stood out for you or your firm in 2025?

About 12 months ago I posted on LinkedIn about our Falkbuilt operable walls. I was obviously hoping the right person(s) would see it and sure enough, that post was “in the right place at the right time”. A friend of mine who works at a design firm saw the post, brought his client/our potential client to our Falkbuilt showroom because they wanted to see alternate operable wall manufacturers, and it turned into my first operable wall order with this client. Fast forward a few months and we are working on their much larger project out west which is comprised of 50+ custom operable walls!

What emerging trends or shifts will shape opportunities for you, your firm, or market sector in 2026?

In recent years, we’ve noticed more and more companies, especially large influential companies (i.e. JPMC), mandating employees work in the office in lieu of the trending WFH fad. It’s funny to think that before COVID, the vast majority of firms were in the office five days a week and recent grads never experienced that. So, to them, five days a week is a new experience. Every butt needs a seat so we hope that companies keep mandating work in their offices especially with the nice new amenities that many NYC landlords are creating for their tenants.
