2025 Women in CRE: Emily Lettieri, Connect Commercial Real Estate

Emily Lettieri
Vice President
Connect Commercial Real Estate

What has been the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in your career, and why?

I lead Connect Media’s Conference division and have organized hundreds of events nationwide but Connect LA in June 2025 was a true career highlight. With 600 commercial real estate leaders, policymakers, and officials gathered in one room, we focused on candid, solutions-driven conversations about the devastating early 2025 Los Angeles wildfires. What made this catalytic forum stand out wasn’t just the scale, it was the shared sense of responsibility and purpose, sparking bold ideas, forging unlikely partnerships, and igniting a movement toward redevelopment and rebuilding.

What advice would you give to a woman considering a career in commercial real estate?

Breaking into the CRE industry requires building and leveraging your network. CRE is a relationship-driven business, and surrounding yourself with mentors, peers, and industry professionals opens doors to new opportunities. Networking is a vital aspect, which is why I attend high-profile events like the REBNY Awards, as well as joined the NAIOP NYC Metro Chapter board this year. Don’t be afraid to speak up, ask questions, and advocate for yourself. Confidence, continuous learning, and persistence makes you stand out as a valuable resource and will help you navigate this dynamic industry.
