Impact Highlight: Describe a recent program, initiative, or process implemented by you and the impact on your firm, organization, or community. As a woman in commercial real estate law, I see mentorship as essential to progress. I mentored a talented attorney who once hesitated to lead; together we set goals, practiced public speaking, and built her network. She became a leader in a professional organization and now mentors others — a ripple effect that strengthens relationships and advances diversity across our field.

Corporate Culture: How does your organization foster a culture of innovation among employees and leadership? Innovation begins with inclusion. At Zetlin & De Chiara, I help build a culture where diverse attorneys are empowered to lead and explore new technologies like AI to enhance — not replace — their skills. I mentor younger lawyers on using these tools responsibly, pairing hands-on learning with feedback so technology becomes a bridge, not a barrier, to growth.

Innovative Outlook: Where do you see the biggest opportunities for innovation in the commercial real estate sector? AI is redefining how projects are conceived, built, and litigated. I see the greatest opportunity in using data-driven tools to anticipate risk before it materializes — whether in contracts, design coordination, or project delivery. For firms like Zetlin & De Chiara, innovation means helping clients adopt technology that makes development smarter, faster, and more equitable across the built environment.
