Impact Highlight: Describe a recent program, initiative, or process implemented by you and the impact on your firm, organization, or community. I’ve worked across service lines to successfully implement Bohler’s integrated approach to land development consulting. We’re actively expanding land surveying, permit expediting, and planning and landscape architecture services to streamline design and deliver higher-value projects through more collaborative consulting and informed design solutions.

Beyond Buildings: How do you see innovation in commercial real estate creating a broader impact on communities and the people who live and work in them? In the NY Metro region, I’ve seen firsthand how innovation in commercial real estate — like adaptive reuse, green roofs, and advanced stormwater systems — creates smarter infrastructure and stronger communities. These strategies improve environmental quality, boost resilience, and help deliver vibrant spaces where people live and work.

Corporate Culture: How does your organization foster a culture of innovation among employees and leadership? Bohler fosters innovation by encouraging idea-sharing and leveraging our Design Technology team to boost efficiency and accuracy. Ideas are tested firm-wide and refined through real feedback. Our Technical Resource Group connects employees with specialized experts across our footprint, turning input into practical, high-impact solutions.

Innovative Outlook: Where do you see the biggest opportunities for innovation in the commercial real estate sector? Across the region, I’ve seen how integrated technology—especially in surveying and permitting—creates major opportunities for innovation. Tools like 3D scanning, GIS, and digital permitting platforms help streamline development, reduce environmental impact, and support resilient, future-ready communities that meet evolving stakeholder needs.
