Jessica Madden
 Office Manager
Norco Construction

What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of?

Norco is on track to nearly double its project volume this year. I am very proud of contributing to my firm’s continuous growth, both in New York and throughout the East Coast. Most recently, I managed estimating and bid efforts for several of Norco’s latest projects: a multi-million office fit-out for a public agency in Manhattan; a restaurant at Bloomingdale’s in Palm Beach Gardens, FL; and pool club facilities in Southberry, CT.

What are the most important factors young women should consider when choosing a firm to build their career with?

Construction industry offers incredible career opportunities to female professionals. When choosing an employer, women should focus on organizations that offer a positive and supportive culture, equal opportunities for growth and professional development, recognition of family responsibilities and a track record of success, which ensures long-term career prospects. Best firms can be identified through networking with other professionals and in the interview and hiring process that should go smoothly, with open and timely communication and supportive onboarding. Norco has a very supportive culture and I look forward to professionally growing with the firm.
