2024 Ones to Watch Rising Stars: Adam Luray, Ease Capital

Adam Luray
Associate
Ease Capital

“Adam was part of the Ease Capital team during several exciting “firsts” including the closing of the company’s $450 million joint venture with Taconic Capital Advisors in November 2023 and one of its first loan closings, a $32 million acquisition financing, in January 2024.” - Charlie Oshman, CEO and Co-Founder at Ease Capital.

Beyond your professional achievements, what are some of your passions or hobbies? I am a passionate sports fan that enjoys playing racket sports such as tennis, padel, pickleball, and squash and keeping up with my hometown sports teams the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles. This passion is akin to Ease’s business where we stay sharp and have fun through healthy competition.

Outside of your career, where else do you seek continuous learning and personal growth? I tend to be “business minded” and have a healthy interest in US history that I developed through my courses in high school and college. I keep up with these intellectual pursuits through reading, podcasts and traveling to historic sites and museums. It’s a great mental exercise to see how others have approached and solved complex problems of their times as well as understand the decisions and events that contributed to our society’s evolution.
