How has your career path changed in 2023? I have taken my hands off the keyboard after being a technical leader for the past six years with our team at smartIT. My focus now is to help prospective and existing clients in their security and IT journey. I spend most of my time meeting with our clients helping them map their business goals and objectives to technology, which helps them innovate for the future.
What emerging trends will drive investment and development in 2024? Our focus as a company is to be a leader in the IT security and risk management space. All our business development, marketing, and our unique offering for our clients is now very security focused. For years, our core competency as an IT service provider was IT. However, things have changed so much with cyber security since COVID-19, our clients must improve their security posture.
