2023 Women in CRE: Lauren Davis, Denham Wolf Real Estate Services

Lauren Davis
Director of Occupier Services
Denham Wolf Real Estate Services

What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? My proudest accomplishment this year was leading The National Academy of Design through a successful search and negotiation process, which resulted in the oldest artist-run organization in the country signing a new lease in the Chelsea Art District. Marking a new chapter for this historic organization, the relocation to a beautiful office and exhibition space will allow National Academy to continue its work supporting world-renowned visual artists and architects through exhibition, education, and research.

Why should this nominee be recognized in our Women in Commercial Real Estate Spotlight? “Lauren’s passion and dedication to nonprofits are surpassed only by her capacity to understand client’s needs and tenacity in finding the perfect real estate solution. Whether it’s a gallery, a headquarters office space, or a performing arts venue for a disability arts ensemble, Lauren excels at supporting complex space users.” - Christopher Turner, Managing Director of Transaction Services at Denham Wolf Real Estate Services

What are the most important factors women in your industry should consider when choosing a firm to build their career with? It’s essential to maintain an identity as a whole person with real-world experience and find a firm that values its employees beyond their job title.

Who inspires you most? What qualities do they possess that inspire you? My mom, a successful realtor, inspires me. Her warm presence makes her someone people want to work with. I follow her example.
