2023 Women in CRE: Jenna Lustbader, SAB Capital

Jenna Lustbader
Senior Investment Sales Associate
SAB Capital

What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? Some recent accomplishments include a senior-level promotion, the closing of three national tenancy shopping centers, and a new venture into the medical sale leaseback desk, but a standout achievement of mine was the closing of a WellNow site in Ogdensburg, NY. The seller is a prominent NY developer responsible for all new construction WellNow sites. We sold the Ogdensburg location for the lowest cap rate of any WellNow deal closed in the last 12 months.

Who inspires you most? What qualities do they possess that inspire you? My brother, who left his chemical engineering career path to become a rabbi - a seemingly risky move for the reward of making a positive impact.

Why should this nominee be recognized in our Women in Commercial Real Estate Spotlight? “Jenna consistently displays collaborative efforts that lead to growth for herself and those she works alongside. Her recent promotion to Senior Associate has proven this, as well as her track record of closings over the past 12 months and her pivot into the medical facility sale leaseback space.” - Doug Hervey, Marketing Manager at SAB Capital.

What are the most important factors women in your industry should consider when choosing a firm to build their career with? Surrounding yourself with leaders who value outside perspectives and take action to work alongside you, and a team that fosters personal development alongside professional growth.
