2023 Ones to Watch Rising Stars: Travis Selesky, Grassi Advisors & Accountants

Travis Selesky, CPA
Audit Supervisor
Grassi Advisors & Accountants

Number of years at firm: 2.5

One thing on my bucket list: Travel to Australia

When I am not working, I am: Spending time outdoors either hiking with my wife or golfing with friends.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? My promotion to audit supervisor has given me the opportunity to play an increasingly vital role in my clients’ business success. It reflects my commitment to the construction industry and the specialized expertise I have developed as a CPA and business advisor. As a supervisor, I go beyond the numbers in the financial statements to identify areas of risk and make proactive recommendations to mitigate them. Having the privilege to do this at one of the largest construction accounting firms in the nation is something I am both proud of and looking forward to building upon.

What makes this nominee a RISING STAR?

“Travis is an emerging leader in Grassi’s construction practice, our largest industry group. His promotion to supervisor reflects his strong technical skills, leadership qualities and client service excellence. He upholds Grassi’s mission to create success for our people and clients every day and actively supports our volunteer and DEI initiatives.” - Carl Oliveri, Partner, Construction Practice Leader at Grassi Advisors & Accountants
