2023 Ones to Watch Rising Stars: Joseph Harary, Meridian Capital Group

Number of years at firm: 4

One thing on my bucket list: One thing on my bucket list is to transact internationally.

When I am not working, I am: In my free time, you can find me cleaning up animal crackers, my daughters’ favorite snack.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? Being a team player. After closing my first few deals, I worked on most of my listings alone. More recently, I’ve moved my seat to the center of the office and started to collaborate much more frequently with other brokers. The energy, comradery and potential that comes with teamwork cannot begin to compare to working alone.

What makes this nominee a RISING STAR?

“Over the past four years, I’ve watched Joseph grow from a junior associate to managing a team of brokers underneath him. Joseph has made a name for himself within the Brooklyn market, closing an 8,500 s/f construction supply store on Elton St. and a 2,500 s/f furniture store on Liberty Ave. I look forward to seeing Joseph continue to learn and succeed as a broker.” - James Famularo, President of Retail Leasing at Meridian Capital Group
