Number of years at firm: 6

When I am not working, I am: Spending most of my time with my children Logan (2.5) and Layla (10 months). We have lots of fun exploring all the fun kid activities that Long Island has to offer. I also spend my free time horseback riding.

One thing on my bucket list: One thing that is on my bucket list it to visit Iceland and see the northern lights.

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? One accomplishment that I am very proud of was that I recently obtained a permit approval for a job that was under review by a challenging township on Long Island. The approval was a comprehensive process and we worked with our client on this approval for almost two years. It felt really great to deliver the good news to them that the town had approved the site plan and associated documents that we had developed.

What makes this nominee a RISING STAR?

“Since joining H2M in 2017, Danielle has established herself as an accomplished civil engineer, leading the site design for real estate development projects large and small throughout Long Island, from the transformative Station Yards project in Ronkonkoma to a recently completed 16-unit mixed use building in Huntington Station.” - Joel Richardson, Department Manager - Civil Engineering at H2M architects + engineers
