What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? During the course of the last 12 months, I originated, serviced and closed four commercial loans for the same borrower totaling in the multi millions. Strict banking loan standards made loan approvals very difficult; so much so that the majority of our banks actually turned down the deal. I successfully found a major bank to approve the loan, work through minor environmental issues, marginal lease income, all with refinancing at a competitive interest rate and holding the rate during a period of sharp Fed tightening. I mention this achievement because without our firm’s banking relationships and our finance division’s servicing, these loans would not have closed.
