Number of years at firm: 4
One thing on my bucket list: Skydiving
When I am not working, I am: Working out, skiing, and assembling/customizing computers.
What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? I enlisted in the Marine Corps at the age of 19 and served for five years in the reserves while completing my undergraduate degree, maintaining stable employment, and subsequently completing law school at Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. Once I joined Sahn Ward Braff Koblenz, after years of mentorship and experience, I became an integral part of the firm’s real estate practice and have handled many transactions, including working recently with other firm attorneys on the closing a of $65 million acquisition deal which included the sale of the business and its corresponding real estate.
What makes this nominee a RISING STAR?
“Alexis Majano is a rising star in every sense of the word. Alexis demonstrates dedication and diligence to the law and the firm’s clients. He has assumed a major role in our real estate department, handling diverse and sophisticated cases and transactions. He takes initiative to seek new accomplishments. None of this is surprising given his service in the Marine Corps, and his dedication to community and civic activities.” - Michael Sahn, Managing Member at Sahn Ward Braff Koblenz PLLC
