Describe what you would consider to be ONE of your top career highlights:

The launch of our debt platform, BEB Lending, is at the top of my list. I have always been passionate about expanding our business, so I put together a plan, pitched the board on the idea, and we hit the ground running and have expanded into many new markets.

What award were you most proud to receive?

The Bert E. Brodsky Leadership Award (twice!). The award recognizes outstanding leadership and vision within BEB Capital and is named after our founder and my mentor. It is a very special award to me.

What leadership role outside of the workplace is most rewarding to you?

Being a good father to my children. I apply a lot of what I learn in the workplace to how I deal with my four children, and it is very rewarding to watch them mature and grow.

What advice would you give the next generation of leaders in your industry?

Talk to and listen to your entire team (including the most junior members). It’s amazing how much information you can gather from people that others overlook. Do the right thing when dealing with others, because your reputation is extremely important and will follow you for the rest of your career.
