What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2021?
While we always strive to obtain maximum property tax relief for our clients, it has been particularly rewarding to help struggling owners and businesses in the current environment. Large and small businesses, hotels, catering facilities and other retail operations are in desperate need of cutting expenses. It has taken a great deal of effort, but by collaborating with taxpayers and then working with municipalities, we’ve successfully found mutually agreeable solutions. Property tax reductions are always welcomed, but achieving beneficial results that directly impact the ability to survive under difficult circumstances is an outcome that has been truly rewarding this past year.
