What are your predictions for your industry in 2022?
Looking ahead 2022 appears to be a robust year in commercial real estate in the industrial and office market sectors despite the economic downturn and negative media coverage. Industrial leasing opened up considerably in 2021 as city dwellers looked to move eastward on Long Island to relocate their businesses. We have more customers than industrial properties to offer for lease and for sale. There are waiting lists for certain size spaces. The office market has been at a slower pace than industrial demand but office spaces under 3,000-5,000 s/f are still popular.
