2021 Year in Review: Mark Stumer, Mojo Stumer Associates

Name: Mark Stumer

Job Title: Principal

Company Name: Mojo Stumer Associates

What was the biggest lesson you learned while working during the pandemic?
The biggest lesson was that staff and people are flexible and can adapt to the situation. We all worked from home and on the network for Zoom meetings, and hardly skipped a beat.

What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2021?
We are very excited about the opening of the 5Pointz housing project with the Wolkoff Organization. We worked on this project for over four years and it is a tremendous success.

What are your predictions for your industry in 2022?
I think 2022 will be a banner year. The economy is good, industry is back to work, offices are re-opening and the residential market is on fire. We look forward to some great work in 2022 and the strong economy to continue.

How has your working environment changed over the last year?
Our work environment hasn’t really changed at all. We are back to work; the office is functioning fine; and except for COVID policies, nothing has really changed.

What is the best advice you received in 2021, and who was it from?
“Stay in your sandbox – you play very well in there.” It is a quote from a real estate developer.
