What was the biggest lesson you learned while working during the pandemic?
We’re thinking more broadly about where we work and how our work connects to other places. We’re reaching out to other places through firms or people we know. In Tucson we’re working with people who left New York City. We’re in touch with contacts and partner firms in Jacksonville, Florida, Dallas, and Toledo. We’re fluent on Zoom and we’ve minimized travel in ways that are better for the environment and budgets. At the office, we’re creating a more responsive and healthier workplace. Things are being done in a remote environment and there are other ways—lots of ways—to communicate.
