Name: Mark Stumer

Company: Mojo Stumer Associates

What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2019?
2019 was a great year for Mojo Stumer Associates. We received recognition and awards for several projects, but we loved winning our 4th Innovation in Design Award from New York Cottages & Gardens Magazine, this time for our Old Westbury Residence project. We were also finalists in the Bath Design category for our Kings Point Residence project.

What was your most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2019?
The recent completion of the lobby and roof deck design for The Fifth Avenue, located in South Harlem, which is part of the initial spur for revitalization of the dynamic South Harlem neighborhood. The project has already received recognition by the AIA Long Island at the ARCHI Awards.

What are your predictions for commercial real estate in 2020?
As much as we hope not, we predict things will slow down a bit in the coming year.
