What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months?
Rather than one great professional achievement, I’d say I’ve had a succession of smaller achievements, all leading to where I am today. At NYCEDC, I was lucky enough to manage many environmental impact statements for projects that shaped the city–the most interesting being the rezoning of Coney Island. That lead to management of the EIS for the NYU Core project, a complex and multi-faceted development I helped implement over several years, At Langan, I look forward to growing the Land Use Planning practice and helping position the firm as a leader in environmental impact analysis citywide.

What does it mean to you to be a team player?
A team player is a skilled communicator, especially face-to-face, which is so important in this digital age. Team players also possess a shared sense of purpose so that when milestones are reached, there is a mutual satisfaction and gratification among the group. I think it is also immensely important to have a sense of humor and bring good will to the team, creating a collaborative environment that is rewarding and enjoyable for everyone.
