“I have a lot to say, and if I’m not No. 1, I can’t say it.”

What is the best advice you have received, and who was it from?
Best advice was from my grandmother: “Don’t worry about being afraid. If you really care about something, you should be afraid or nervous. Don’t focus on that. Focus on being brave despite the fear. Being brave is the most important trait a modern woman can have.”

What recent project or transaction are you most proud of?
Proudest moment recently: We closed the largest transaction by a digital platform in May 2019, a $324 million portfolio of Cabela’s/Bass Pro stores. A major record!

Favorite podcast: “Masters of Scale” –no question!

How do you hold your own in a negotiation?
When negotiating, a woman’s EQ can help her control the room. Get out in front of the room’s emotional energy and lead it.
