Name: Teyana Chin

Title: Office Manager, Associate

Company Name:  FXCollaborative

Years in your current field: 13

What professional organizations or associations are you a member of? Society for Design Administration

What was your most notable project 2017?

Although not a traditional project per se, participating in the “Women Unite Sleep Out” for Covenant House New York was one of the most fulfilling projects, or initiatives, that I participated in last year. It was a special opportunity for the Women of FXCollaborative group to bring awareness to the homeless youth in New York City.

If you have had a mentor in your career, who was it and what did they teach you?

Tim Milam, managing director at FXCollaborative is my mentor, and has been a big influence in my life. He has taught me to look at the bigger picture. Sometimes, we focus on the smaller aspect of things and fail to realize how it affects the overall structure or plan. It has taught me how to be a better decision maker, both personally and professionally.

What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2017?

The accomplishment I am most proud is being promoted to associate.
