2018 Ones to Watch: Sean Cronin, Partner at Cronin & Cronin Law Firm, PLLC

Name: Sean Cronin

Title: Partner

Company: Cronin & Cronin Law Firm, PLLC

Address: 200 Old Country Rd., Suite 470, Mineola, NY

Year that you entered your current field? 2004

How do you contribute to the future of your industry?

A predictable property tax burden provides our clients with confidence to invest in and grow our region. Our efforts to lessen the tax burden for overassessed properties also create a pathway for them to reinvest that saved money back into their projects. This is absolutely critical to increasing the tax base and sustaining long-term growth.

How do you manage the work/life balance?

I truly enjoy what I do and am privileged to work with sophisticated clients and attorneys. That atmosphere allows the work side of the balance to be incredibly rewarding. However, the one thing that is always more rewarding is spending time with my family. I make sure there are certain times and activities that I get to do with wife and three children. Setting aside those definite times are helpful as it prevents you from blinking and the realizing the week has gone by and you’ve missed an opportunity to spend time with your family.

Who or what do you attribute to your success ?

Hard work and a tremendous team. In tax certiorari, there are a number of different aspects to each case. Our firm is fortunate to have that special combination of a talented staff that is also very hard working. That attitude becomes contagious and brings everyone up to a higher level of performance.
