What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2017?

Assisting in the conversion of a dark auto dealership to a fitness facility. The property was littered with environmental issues including buried tanks that had contaminated the soil and groundwater. MECC worked with the developer and regulators to achieve the proper remediation and eventual sign off that the property was clean.  

Who or what contributed to your success in 2017 and why?

My team at Merritt Environmental. From our research analysts to field geologists, everyone comes to work with the same mission of providing the best expertise for our clients as they have come to expect that out of us every day. 

What trends will impact your business in 2018?

Many of our clients are lending institutions, so interest rates and access to capital effect our business like most in the real estate industry.
