What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2016?
2016 has been the most significant year in VTS history, cemented by our recent merger with Hightower. Independently, VTS and Hightower’s platforms solved big problems for our customers, helping them work more efficiently and close deals faster. In coming together, we're positioned to accelerate our pace of innovation and truly partner with clients to solve their most complicated problems. We now have over 5.5 billlion square feet on our platform and in the year to come we’ll focus on enhancing our offerings, ultimately enabling our users to focus on what really matters - building strong client relationships, closing deals faster, and getting a lasting competitive advantage.
What emerging trends will drive investment and development in 2017?
From our perspective, 2017 is poised to be the year where we start to see real-time data being used to support large-scale investment and development decisions more prevalently. Thanks to the increased adoption of technology products over recent years, many landlords are now at a point where they have real-time access to critical asset, portfolio and tenant information, and we're already seeing the focus shift from streamlining data collection to actually putting it to use. We're investing heavily in the features our users need to quickly comprehend portfolio information alongside market trends, ultimately enabling them to make timely decisions that drive revenue.
