Name & Title: Keith Brown

Company Name: Harris Beach PLLC

What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2016?

Worked on a 106 acre 10 MW solar power generating facility project in Manorville, New York.

What project, transaction, market trend or product had the greatest impact on your industry this year?

I think the surge in renewable energy has been a boom for the commercial real estate industry of late with solar, wind and fuel cell technology being deployed all around the State.

How will you be supercharging your productivity in 2017?

By getting up earlier and getting to the office earlier. It’s much easier to get work done when the phone is not ringing and people constantly coming in and out of your office. Plus, there is no traffic because no one is on the road.

What emerging trends will drive investment and development in 2017?

It looks like congress and the incoming President-elect are proposing to stimulate the economy with a large capital investment in infra-structure, which should help create much needed construction jobs. Hopefully that will mean more work in commercial real estate in 2017.
