Internship doing real estate communication What real estate associations or organization are you a member of? ULI, NY Building Congress What is the best advice you have received and who was it from? The best advice I received early in my career is “life only happens when you show up.” I learned this from an early client who helped me understand that being present in the industry and having face-to-face time with contacts is the best way to form deep relationships. What recent honor, achievement or recognition has meant the most to you and why? I was asked to speak on networking at the 2015 CoreNet Global Summit in Los Angeles. Following the presentation, I learned that my presentation was ranked among the top presentations at the Summit and I will receive an award at the 2016 Global Summit in Philadelphia next fall. Corenet brings together the best and brightest professionals in commercial real estate and it is a true honor to be recognized by the organization. What time management strategies do you find to be the most effective for you? I try to block out time with members of my team in addition to meetings out of the office as a way of ensuring we communicate well within our team and we don’t prioritize external meetings over internal ones.   What was a significant milestone or achievement for your company? Our firm recently celebrated our 10th anniversary in December 2015. It gave me an opportunity to look back at where we’ve been and the people who have helped us along the way. I felt tremendous gratitude to our team and the entire industry for supporting us and enabling us to reach this milestone.
