10-15-2014 - PWC to hold annual Salute to Women of Achievement luncheon

Lenore Janis, president and executive director of Professional Women in Construction (PWC), has unveiled the honorees at the organization's upcoming annual Salute to Women of Achievement luncheon to be held from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. on October 15th, at Club 101. Janis said, "We are proud to recognize the achievements of a large group of remarkable women who represent many diverse professions. As we head into PWC's 35th year it is gratifying to see the strides that have been made." The honorees are: Stephanie Cesario, LEED AP BD + C, project executive at Hunter Roberts Construction Group; Zaria Demarchi, LEED AP BD + C, senior airport engineer for the Port Authority of NY and NJ; Sylvia Smith, FAIA, LEED AP, senior partner with FXFOWLE Architects; Nicole Hunter, project manager, HNTB Corp.; Marianne Egri, VP, NYC School Construction Authority (SCA); and Michelle Bernstein, project manager, Alexander Wolf & Son. The presidents of two of PWC's largest and most successful chapters will also be honored: Carolyn Kurth, CPA, CFE, senior manager at CohnReznick and president of PWC-CT; and Carolyn Pugaczewski, president of M. Adams & Associates and president of PWC-NJ. The presenters are: Bruce Barrett, R.A., V.P., NYC SCA; Peter Bernstein, director of operations, Alexander Wolf & Son; Phil Collin, P.E., VP, HNTB Corp.; Joan Gerner, exec. VP, Hunter Roberts; Ed Gould, manager airport facility projects, The Port Authority of NY & NJ; and Ann Rolland, AIA, LEED AP, principal, FXFOWLE.
