10-03-2015 - 9th Annual Division of Women’s Services Conference and Expo “Women Empowering Women”

The Town of Brookhaven has announced that the Division of Women’s Services 9th Annual Conference and Expo will be held on Saturday, October 3rd from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. This year’s conference, “Women Empowering Women,” will feature guest speakers, popular vendor booths and a discussion with a diverse panel of successful women, sharing their personal stories of the struggle to succeed in their careers. The Office of Women’s Services is inviting sponsors and vendors to promote their business and participate in this event. They are seeking a diverse group to showcase local organizations in their efforts to promote wellness and personal growth. Vendors may sell and promote items and services. Vendor space is extremely limited. Sponsors, vendors and attendees can visit www.brookhaven.org , the Town web site “In the Spotlight” section to register and make the fee payment online. The registration fee includes breakfast and lunch. Registration deadline is September 25. Advanced registration is required and conference guests will be able to attend all of the workshops listed below. The workshops include: • Panel Discussion: Achieving Success Against the Odds.
