05-22-2013 - Bove, national security expert, to keynote IREM's luncheon

Vincent Bove, CPP, is considered one of the foremost national experts on facility protection, evacuations, terrorism prevention and leadership training. The IREM Greater New York chapter is honored to have him as their keynote speaker at their monthly luncheon on May 22nd at the Union League Club, 38 East 37th St. The topic is "Safeguarding People and Property: Leadership, Vigilance, Collaboration." Bove is a board certified protection professional, board certified crime prevention specialist, certified law enforcement instructor and U.S. Dept. of Justice Certified Community Anti-Terrorism Awareness trainer. He is a recipient of the FBI director's Community Leadership Award. This award, presented on behalf of the director of the FBI, honors individuals and organizations for their efforts in combating crime, terrorism, drugs, and violence in America. Bove has also trained hundreds of FBI Counterterrorism Unit agents and division supervisors as well as N.Y.C. Police Dept. rank and file in advanced techniques of leadership, crime prevention and terrorism preparedness. Bove has been called upon to inform, instruct and inspire over 50,000 educators, parents, students, mental health professionals, law enforcement officials, and community leaders throughout the U.S. The networking cocktail hour at the luncheon will be sponsored by Vidaris.
