02-27-2015 - Consolo of Douglas Elliman to moderate Winter 2015 session of the Academy for Continuing Education

Faith Hope Consolo, chairman of Douglas Elliman's Retail Group, is moderating a panel of top real estate industry trade and on-line reporters and editors for the Winter 2015 session of the Academy for Continuing Education (ACE), Friday, February 27, from 2- 3 p.m. at 3 West Club (3 West 51st St.), in the Grand Ballroom. Joining Consolo will be media from Bisnow.com, Curbed.com, DNAInfo.com, Globest.com, Mann Report, Real Estate Forum, Real Estate Weekly and The Real Deal. The discussions will cover a host of issues ranging from real estate trends and forecasts to do's and don'ts with media - and much more. "For two decades, I have worked with my friend Esther Muller and ACE to provide useful content for the agents and brokers attending the continuing education classes," said Consolo. "This will be our second media panel and the first one with industry trade and online reporters who cover the news, 24/7. I have always found that the most successful brokers are those who are best informed because they read the news and have their hands on the pulse of the industry!" Consolo, who is a distinguished professor at ACE, has moderated and taught classes since its inception in 1995, is also a popular guest lecturer at New York University's Schack Institute of Real Estate and participates on panels for several real estate, retail and fashion industry associations. In her complementary roles as a director of the national Commercial Real Estate Women Network and Chairman Emeritus of the New York chapter, CREW New York, as well as its former Communications Co-Chair, she also frequently serves as a moderator and guest speaker for those organizations. A Q&A session follows the Meet the Press panel discussion. More information about the panel and registration is available at http://realestateacademy.com/specialevents.htm or by calling 212-262-2662.
