The Building Trades Employers' Association (BTEA) will host "Meet the Owner: A BTEA Project Case Study," which will focus on an in-depth case study of Hines' MoMA Tower and feature presentations from Hines, Ateliers Jean Nouvel and Lend Lease. The event will be held on Wednesday, February 19th from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Santander Auditorium at 45 East 53rd St.
The MoMA Tower project team will discuss the vision behind the project, as well as past and anticipated challenges. They will provide an inside look at one of the most anticipated development projects in New York City today. Speakers will include:
* Bertram Beissel von Gymnich, partner, Ateliers Jean Nouvel
* Tommy Craig, senior managing director, Hines
* Nicholas Grecco, senior vice president, project executive, Lend Lease
* David Penick, managing director, Hines
About the MoMA Tower
Developed by Hines and designed by Ateliers Jean Nouvel, the MoMA Tower is an iconic residential condominium project that, when complete, will be adjacent to the Museum of Modern Art. This 72-story, 750,000 s/f tower will house 145 high-end condominium residences, designed by world-renowned architect Thierry Despont. In addition, the building's lower floors will include 36,000 s/f of new exhibition space for MoMA distributed over three floors.
