Queens, NY Parkhill City, a $160 million multifamily complex project being developed by the Chetrit Organization at 152-11 89th Ave., between 150th and 153rd Sts. in Jamaica, is nearing completion. The developer has opened its leasing office for the property. The two-building complex, which faces Rufus King Park, will have 483 studio through three-bedroom residences with contemporary finishes, hardwood floors, high ceilings, and oversized windows overlooking scenic park and cityscape views. The general contractor is NY Developers. The architect is Hill West Architects.

The newly designed residences feature comfortable layouts, modern finishes and details, such as kitchens with high-end appliances, glass-tile backsplashes, and stone counters. Tiled bathrooms offer soaking tubs and/or walk-in showers. Other special features comprise customized closets, including several walk-ins, and in-unit washer dryer sets in the one, two, and three-bedroom apartments.

Parkhill City’s amenities package includes a large fitness center and yoga room, children’s playroom, furnished media rooms, several  furnished resident lounges, billiards room, karaoke room, opulent indoor pool with lounge, chef’s kitchen and dining room, furnished rooftop terrace with multiple jumbo screens, concierge/package room, bike storage room, central laundry rooms, and onsite parking. Another resident perk will be continental-style breakfasts, served daily in the complex’s coffee-and-juice bar.

Beyond the amenities, is Parkhill City’s proximity to multiple transit options, such as F-train, LIRR (approximately 20 minutes from Penn Station), and the JFK AirTrain. The complex is also close to the Van Wyck Expressway and Belt Parkway, making it convenient for traveling to the airports, as well as into Manhattan, Brooklyn, other parts of Queens, Long Island and Westchester. Area colleges include St. Johns, Queens, York and Vaughn. Jamaica Hospital and other medical institutions are nearby, too, along corridors of bustling local businesses.

“While already located in a dynamic residential community, Parkhill City also sets a benchmark for new luxury residential projects,” said Michael Waldner, managing partner, Mishkan Group, the exclusive leasing agent for the complex. “The accessibility of the location, combined with its superior design and outstanding lifestyle features, will attract a diverse mix of quality-seeking residents from all over the city and beyond.”

Parkhill City is earmarked for a fall opening.
