Zimmerman to serve as first vice president of CB Richard Ellis' downtown Manhattan office
According to Sheldon Cohen, senior managing director of CB Richard Ellis' downtown operations, the firm has appointed Leonard Zimmerman as first vice president.
Prior to joining CBRE, Zimmerman served as a managing director at Grubb & Ellis New York, specializing in tenant and ownership representation, strategic real estate planning and market research. During his tenure with the firm, he was instrumental in negotiating several high profile transactions for national and international companies including Qwest Communications Corp.
Recently, he completed a 33,000 s/f deal for John Jay College and represented the Screen Actor's Guild for their East Coast office requirements.
Zimmerman is an active member of several industry organizations including the Real Estate Board of New York.
