Greene of Murray Hill Properties completes 76,801 s/f lease to Scripps

Scripps Networks, LLC has signed a new 10-year lease for 76,801 s/f at 1180 Avenue of the Americas. Among other subsidiaries, Scripps owns The Food Network and HGTV, one of leaders in the lifestyle media market. The tenant opted out their current lease with three years remaining, exchanged floors and took additional space. 1180 Avenue of the Americas is a 23-story, 396,800 s/f building that was purchased by Murray Hill Properties in 2007. The class A office building was built in 1962 and is located within the Rockefeller Center/6th Ave. corridor, between 46th and 47th Sts. David Greene of Murray Hill Properties, represented the ownership and Samuel Clark III of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant.
