Zabarkes joins board of advisors at STRATCO

Former associate dean at NYU's Real Estate Institute and Rent Stabilization Association executive director, Arthur Zabarkes, has joined the board of advisors of STRATCO Property Group, a company specializing in repositioning troubled multifamily properties in New York's boroughs. With more than 40 years in real estate, urban zoning, property management and development, Zabarkes brings expertise to an already experienced team at STRATCO, which manages high-risk properties. "We are honored to have Arthur Zabarkes lend his talents to our firm," said STRATCO founder and principal Robert Sedaghatpour. "He is a preeminent player in N.Y.C.'s real estate market and his extensive experience, especially in asset repositioning and in the city's rent regulatory system, brings additional clout to our team." Zabarkes began his career as principal planner in the New York City's mayor's office and is former managing director of Waterside Plaza. His well recognized expertise will no doubt further STRATCO's objective to become the No. 1 consulting company for multifamily properties in New York.
